Booking & Scheduling

How do I book a sitter?

Fill out the Request a Quote form or call us at (346) 632-5554. Tell us a little about your pet(s), the dates you need care, and what services you're interested in. We'll get back to you within 24 hours with a quote.

How far in advance should I book?

For overnight sitting around holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, summer travel), we recommend booking at least 3–4 weeks in advance. For regular dog walks or drop-ins, a few days notice is usually enough.

Do you do a meet-and-greet before the first visit?

Yes. We always do a complimentary meet-and-greet for new clients so you can meet us, we can meet your pets, and we can go over your home's routines and any special instructions. No commitment — it's just a chance to make sure we're a good fit.

What's your cancellation policy?

For walks and drop-ins we ask for 24 hours notice when possible. For overnight stays we ask for 7 days notice. We understand things come up — just call us and we'll work it out.

Pets & Care

What kinds of pets do you care for?

All of them. Truly. Furry pets (dogs, cats, rabbits), pocket pets (hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs), scaled companions (reptiles, snakes, turtles), feathered friends (birds), and amphibians. We've also cared for horses. If you have an animal not on this list, just ask.

Do you take care of senior or special-needs pets?

Yes — this is one of our specialties. We're comfortable with elderly pets, pets on medications, pets with mobility issues, and anxious or fearful pets. Our reviews are full of families who trust us with their senior babies.

Can you administer medication?

Yes — pills, drops, and injections. Just walk us through the routine during the meet-and-greet.

My dog is anxious around new people. Can you still help?

Absolutely. Many of our clients have shy or stand-offish pets. We're patient, calm, and let pets warm up to us at their own pace. We never force interactions.

Visits & Updates

Will I get updates while I'm away?

Yes. Every single visit comes with photos and a short update sent directly to your phone. You'll know exactly what your pet is up to, every day.

How long is each visit?

Drop-in visits are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute options depending on your pet's needs. Overnight stays are full nights in your home.

What do you do during a visit?

Feeding, fresh water, potty break or litter scoop, playtime or cuddles, medication if needed, and a quick check that your home is secure. For dog walking visits, the walk is the main event.

Do you handle anything else around the house?

Yes — bringing in mail, watering plants, alternating lights, and taking out trash bins are all standard for overnight stays. Just let us know what you need.

Trust & Safety

Are you insured?

Yes — we carry both business insurance and liability insurance for your peace of mind and ours.

How do you handle my keys?

We treat home access with extreme care. Keys, lockbox codes, and garage codes are stored securely and never shared. You can also use a smart lock or lockbox if you prefer not to hand over a physical key.

What happens in an emergency?

We're trained to handle pet emergencies. We'll get your pet to your preferred vet (or the nearest 24-hour vet) immediately and contact you as soon as your pet is safe. We confirm your emergency contact preferences during the meet-and-greet.

Who actually shows up at my home?

For most visits, Ashlyn or Charley themselves. During busy seasons we may send one of our small team of vetted sitters — but you'll always know who's coming, and any sitter you meet has been personally trained by Ashlyn.

Payment & Service Area

How much do you charge?

Pricing depends on the service, the number of pets, and how often we visit. Request a Quote and we'll send you a price tailored to your situation — usually within 24 hours.

How do payments work?

We have a simple booking and payment process. Most clients pay through our secure invoice system. We accept major payment methods.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Houston and the surrounding suburbs. If you're not sure whether your neighborhood is in range, just ask — we travel further than people expect.
