For overnight sitting around holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, summer travel), we recommend booking at least 3–4 weeks in advance. For regular dog walks or drop-ins, a few days notice is usually enough.
Yes. We always do a complimentary meet-and-greet for new clients so you can meet us, we can meet your pets, and we can go over your home's routines and any special instructions. No commitment — it's just a chance to make sure we're a good fit.
For walks and drop-ins we ask for 24 hours notice when possible. For overnight stays we ask for 7 days notice. We understand things come up — just call us and we'll work it out.
All of them. Truly. Furry pets (dogs, cats, rabbits), pocket pets (hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs), scaled companions (reptiles, snakes, turtles), feathered friends (birds), and amphibians. We've also cared for horses. If you have an animal not on this list, just ask.
Yes — this is one of our specialties. We're comfortable with elderly pets, pets on medications, pets with mobility issues, and anxious or fearful pets. Our reviews are full of families who trust us with their senior babies.

Yes. Every single visit comes with photos and a short update sent directly to your phone. You'll know exactly what your pet is up to, every day.
Drop-in visits are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute options depending on your pet's needs. Overnight stays are full nights in your home.
Feeding, fresh water, potty break or litter scoop, playtime or cuddles, medication if needed, and a quick check that your home is secure. For dog walking visits, the walk is the main event.
Yes — bringing in mail, watering plants, alternating lights, and taking out trash bins are all standard for overnight stays. Just let us know what you need.
Yes — we carry both business insurance and liability insurance for your peace of mind and ours.
We treat home access with extreme care. Keys, lockbox codes, and garage codes are stored securely and never shared. You can also use a smart lock or lockbox if you prefer not to hand over a physical key.
We're trained to handle pet emergencies. We'll get your pet to your preferred vet (or the nearest 24-hour vet) immediately and contact you as soon as your pet is safe. We confirm your emergency contact preferences during the meet-and-greet.
For most visits, Ashlyn or Charley themselves. During busy seasons we may send one of our small team of vetted sitters — but you'll always know who's coming, and any sitter you meet has been personally trained by Ashlyn.
